• No cribs with drop sides

• No household chemical products such as pesticides, paint, paint thinner, drain cleaner, oven cleaner, aerosols and other environmentally-unfriendly waste products

• No automotive hazardous waste such as tires, lead acid batteries, additives, gasoline, oils, antifreeze, etc.

• No opened/ used personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner, nail polish remover, shaving cream, hairsprays, shavers 

​

• No carpet or carpet padding (however, we DO take rugs) 

​

• No plumbing fixtures or building materials 

​

• No pianos 

​

• No child products, walkers or other products that do not meet the current safety standards of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, including recalled items

• Large items/large appliances that do not work such as TVs, microwave ovens, copy machines 

​

• Mattresses and box springs (including waterbed mattresses and waterbed frames) LFM can not sell these items in the store due to state laws requiring special sanitation 

​

• Upholstered couches and chairs which are torn, soiled or otherwise damaged 

​

• Televisions as follows: large console model televisions and stereos that are extremely heavy, non-cable-ready TVs that cannot be connected to digital converter boxes, broken and damaged TVs, black and white TVs

• Automobile parts such as tires, wheels, batteries, seats, body parts and engines
