Ways to Help

Our greatest need will always be prayer. We hope that you will pray for us as we come to mind. Pray also for those families out there now that will one day arrive at Living Free Ministries. We continue to share the vision with churches, businesses, and individuals. We need to get the word out.

We also need to increase our monthly financial support base as we build our industries that will soon supplement charitable contributions. Every gift, no matter the size, is important.

Pray for us, share the vision with others, consider financial support, donate goods or time... the list is endless. If you are interested in helping Living Free Ministries in some way, call our office and someone will be glad to talk with you. Our office number is 336-376-5066.

Financing

Living Free Ministries is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation. Funding for Living Free is made by the gracious donations of individuals, churches, and businesses. All contributions are tax-deductible. Financial accountability exists through a Board of Directors as well as a CPA; all following the governing laws of our local, state, and federal authorities.
"Because of his kindness, you have been saved through trusting Christ. And even trusting is not of yourselves; it too is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good we have done, so none of us can take any credit for it. It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others."
Ephesians 2:8-10
Sponsor a Man
in the Program
We need sponsors to commit themselves to the man they are sponsoring by bringing him to Living Free Ministries, aiding him while he's here, and helping him when he's ready to leave. Aftercare is often the most neglected are of regeneration. If you don't have a man to bring into the program but still want to sponsor one, contact our office and we can set you up with a man already in the program. Some may already have family that is already helping them but others come here without any loved ones to help them through this process. The following are some helpful suggestions when sponsoring a man:
  • Pray for the man and his family daily
  • Communicate with him regularly by letter or personal visits. Some of our men may never receive a letter during their entire stay.
  • Send him necessary toiletries
  • Keep in contact with the man's family
  • Help the man readjust after he graduates. Your involvement may greatly influence his success.
  • Before approaching the man about a job, we suggest you contact a program counselor and ask about the man's readiness to leave the program.
