Living Free Ministries Past Events
God has used many generous folks to bring about some amazing things at Living Free Ministries.
We broke ground for our new home in 2011 when we got our first permits and poured the footings. Today we have completed the construction of our almost 4000 square foot men's home - and with your support and God's grace - it is debt free!
We can house up to 19 men. Our home offers six spacious bedrooms and four baths, plus a large kitchen and spaces for classrooms and family recovery sessions
Photo above shows the men in the program at the time the new home was completed, along with Jay & Christie Doss, Directors, and the three standing center folks are family members of Mickey Evans that started the ministry that Living Free is patterned after - Dunklin Memorial Camp
Hi! We are the Crosby family!
My name is Heath. Originally from north Georgia, my wife, Rachelle and I have been married
for 13 years and we have been blessed with four beautiful children...
Hayden, Hallie, Ridge, and Hensley.
In 2010 our family was almost ripped apart by addiction.
We had gotten married at a very young age and quickly started a family. Our addiction to methamphetamines took us to places we never thought we would go. We lost everything that we had worked for and it was at that time my wife called out for help.
God so graciously plucked us out of the mess we had made and set our feet on solid ground.
That ground happened to be in the swamps of Florida at two programs called Dunklin Memorial Camp and The Refuge Ranch.
Once there, many things began to happen. First and foremost, was a relationship with the Lord. Through that we received healing and worked through forgiveness and restoration in our marriage. After graduating the programs we stayed on for a year of family development to begin being mentored and living together as a Christian family. Since then, we went through servant leadership training and staff training and eventually on to staff.
My wife Rachelle has worked with the women at The Refuge Ranch, teaching Inner Healing and parenting classes.
I have worked at Dunklin with the men teaching classes and providing meat for the program in the butcher shop.
We have learned the blessing of being able to give back what we had once received ourselves and we have a heart and a passion for helping other hurting and broken families.
We are excited to announce that God is now calling us to bring that passion
to Snow Camp North Carolina! After visiting Living Free Ministries and seeing
what God is doing there, the Lord confirmed that this is where He wants us.
We will be heading north on June 1st (Lord willing) to join Jay & Christie in
serving in whatever ways the Lord puts in front of us.
We truly appreciate your prayers and support and can’t wait to join the family!
